Infinix Note 50s 5G+ slated to launch with scent-infused vegan leather (2025)

Digit.in reports that theInfinixNote 50s is intended to to smell as good as it looks, thanks to world-first Energizing Scent-Tech for Android devices. It apparently enables the smartphone to emit "a light, refreshing scent" for up to 6 months of use.

The potentially interesting (if gimmicky) new feature is enabled byMicroencapsulation Technology: a technique of "trapping" molecules of theNote 50s' perfume in capsules integrated into vegan leather, which is in turn found in 1 of the handset's color SKUs (Marine Drift Blue).

Infinix has not confirmed the integration of Energizing Scent-Tech in its own Note 50steasers thus far. The OEM also has yet to explain why the smartphone will be "5G+", although that might be linked to something like 5G Advanced (or 5G-A).

More cryptically, theNote 50s is also backed to "Question the Noise" with the "slimmest" design on its April 18, 2025 launch.
